Ben Smith brings word of the latest endorsement for the Monserrate, which comes from Karla Giraldo, the woman who was actually Monserrated. Says Smith, “There’s little more depressing in politics than a domestic abuse victim filming a testimonial for her abuser,” and calls the video “too grim to embed.” Agree! Perhaps even more grim? The comments accompanying the clip in the Post, which even by that crowd’s usual standards are particularly vile and misogynistic.
