Laura Marling, "Devil's Resting Place"

I have been kind of resistant to Laura Marling because everyone is all, OH MY GOD LAURA MARLING AH-MAY-ZANG ETC. and I tend to run screaming the other way when confronted with that sort of adoration which, when you think about it, is remarkably shortsighted on my part. There’s no reason that, just because a lot of people who are usually too cool to like a thing all wind up liking the same thing, the thing has to be bad. This is actually pretty good. Maybe it’s time for me to jump off my elevated pony and watch “The Wire” now. [Via]
