New John Sayles Book

Fans of John Sayles can temporarily stop grumbling about WHEN THE HELL ARE THEY EVER GOING TO RELEASE CITY OF HOPE ON DVD to at least celebrate the fact that McSweeney’s is set to publish his new novel, A Moment in the Sun. The book clocks in at close to 1,000 pages, so once it’s out expect me to disappear for a while. Those of you who are unfamiliar with the director’s literary works should check out Los Gusanos or The Anarchists’ Convention.
