Tonight: A Very Special Performance By Black Prairie

Tonight in New York City there are, as usual, a number of things to do. But there’s a rare chance to see an evening called “Wild Ones,” which is a musical performance collaboration between Black Prairie, which includes 3/5ths of The Decembrists, and Jon Mooallem, based on his book about our war on the animals and the end of wilderness. It sounds terrible when you try to explain it: musical performance with spoken word??? OH NO. But it’s actually very groovy. Hmm. Not “groovy.” Anyway that is happening at City Winery.
