Is Your Vagina Making You Worry About Your Weight?
Science has determined that women can’t help but be afraid of getting fat. After being pre-screened to ensure that they did not have an eating disorder, a bunch of ladies were hooked up to a brain scan machine, which revealed the terrible truth about females:
When they see an overweight woman, the female brain reacts negatively, increasing feelings of unhappiness and even self loathing, said the study.
But while this is a common trait in anorexics and others with body issues, it also happens in healthy and fit women with no obvious worries about their weight or shape, it added.
Men, as you might expect, did not exhibit a similar response, because every dude thinks he is a young George Clooney no matter how large the gut hanging over his belt happens to be. When asked why seemingly healthy women would evince these kinds of reactions, psychologist Diane Spangler blamed all the skinny, attractive models and actresses you see on magazine covers and TV. Which, is what you would expect from a Diane Spangler. Your average Dave Spangler would have shrugged his shoulders and whispered, “Bitches, man,” and then gone back to imagining himself in one of the Ocean’s movies.
