Internet's "New Niceness" Pays Off With Nobel Prize Nomination
Included among the 273 people and organizations nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize: the Internet, which has apparently made great strides in advancing the causes of “dialogue, debate, and consensus.” The BBC notes that, “It is unclear who would accept the prize if the internet were to win,” but I’m pretty sure it would either be the Star Wars kid, that Peter Pan guy, or the dude in the cat outfit from ChatRoulette. Ugh, I hate you all so much.
