Igor Vicente, "Jasmin"

You know what today is? (Say something about Back to the Future and I swear I will LOSE IT.) Today is the another day of summer! Sure, the brief respite from colder temperatures is temporary and by Friday we will return to more seasonally appropriate weather, but that’s fine, fall is awesome. And we’ve had a great one so far. Usually fall in New York is six terrific non-consecutive days that crop up unexpectedly and then disappear before you can get used to them, but it feels like we’ve already had four or five pretty early on, so it’s almost as if we get an extended autumn this year. How great is that? And we’re still in this little mini-summer! Everything’s so perfect! Maybe it will just stay like this forever, nice crisp days with occasional spots of warm weather and sun to help us appreciate just how lovely life is. Anyway, that’s mine: What internal monologue are you running through to help yourself pretend that winter won’t be terrible this year? Ugh, it’s gonna be so bad, isn’t it? Anyway, here’s some music. Enjoy.
