SPONSORED POST: Favorite Places In New York Sponsored By The New Kia Sportage -- Cafe Habana
Sometimes popular places aren’t just popular because famouses like Justin Timberlake and Rachel Bilson go there, but also because the food is insanely delicious. The Cuban restaurant Cafe Habana, located at Prince and Elizabeth in the heart of NoLiTa, is a case in point: it just happens to have both star power and really awesome food.
Everyone will tell you to get the corn, which you definitely should, but some of the less popular yet still excellent choices on the menu include the fish tacos and any of the enchiladas. Most importantly, get the pork chop. It comes with a spicy, creamy mushroom sauce and an amazing goat cheese toast. I cannot emphasize this enough, get the pork chop.
Cafe Habana is very small and very crowded, so try to go on the less busy days (Monday-Wednesday) or show up at less hectic times (6–7:30pm, 9:30pm-close). If you don’t mind waiting, go whenever you want. It’s your life.
