David Paterson On Larry King: I've "Been Slandered" For Two Weeks

D-PATS

David Paterson went on the Larry King teevee show last night, for a coded, confusing (surprise!) conversation about rumors and non-scandals and a forthcoming story in the New York Times, which is still forthcoming. According to Paterson, there’s a smear campaign afoot. (In New York State? Unpossible!) There wasn’t any talk at all about Paterson’s “omnipresent body man” or his former roommate and “confidential assistant,” who together “have more power than his senior professional appointees.” Paterson also pointed out last night that he’s focused on “keeping the state solvent,” which I think is something we can all get behind.
